Dear Honey Run Friends,

This morning I am observing one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen over the Ohio landscape. As the raging ball of fire we know as the sun is cresting the horizon, there is a low hanging fog all across my sight line. The rich, crisp, blue sky is clear above the fog as the dome around me begins to be filled with light.

What God has created for our benefit is absolutely beautiful! If I allow myself to slow down and experience all of this beauty I am humbled and filled with gratitude. The Bible tells us that heaven is even better than this, can you imagine?

This life is filled with pain, heartache, struggles, which are offset by joy and love. The key for us in this life is to focus on the love and joy portion and while we need to acknowledge and deal with the struggles, we cannot let this become our focus. If we do, we will be weighted down with the battle and God does not want that for us. Allow Him to be your guide in life and He will carry these burdens for you.

The Inn at Honey Run is a sanctuary to all the struggles of this world. This is a place to rest, reconnect, and to heal. I pray you have the opportunity to visit us soon and just enjoy the act of being. Being present for yourself. Being present to appreciate the many blessings in your life. Being present to soak up the beauty in all the created nature that surrounds our humble resort.

This life is not easy. But you have a team at Honey Run that wants to share the joys in life with you and to serve you as you are rejuvenated to carry on in your life’s pursuits.

I hope to see you soon!

Your sun soaked and refreshed innkeeper,

Jason
